- 5th Annual awards Ceremony You are cordially invited to attend the 5th annual athletic awards ceremony at Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School on THURSDAY, MAY 26TH, 2011. The awards ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm in the auditorium. Following the ceremony, individual team awards will be presented and there will be a reception in the cafeteria.
- Spring Sports Participation The official start date for participation in the 2010 - 2011 Spring sports programs will begin on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. In order to be ELIGIBLE to participate all interested male & female student -athletes MUST have maintained a 2.0 GPA or higher with NO E during the 2nd Grading Quarter. Additionally, all participants must turn in a completed Student/Parent Packet during one of the Spring Athletic Clearinghouse sessions in the Athletic Directors Office. The clearinghouse sessions will take place from Friday, February 25 - Tuesday, March 1st. The packet can be obtained from either the athletic directors office located in the main gym or the main office. Go Pumas!
- Get Ready to Smile... Blanton Studios is scheduled to photograph the Winter Sports Teams on Wednesday, January 19th at 4pm. This is an excellent opportunity to capture treasured memories of your child. Portrait information has been distributed to students via handouts.
- Winter Athlete & Parent Meeting Attention all Winter Athletes & Parents: There will be a mandatory meeting for all winter athletes and their parents on November 23td at 6:30pm. The meeting will take place at Wise High School in the auditorium. Directly following the Athletic Directors presentation their will be individual team meetings. Parents, this is a great opportunity to meet your son/daughters coaches and to ask any relevant questions that you may have about the team. See you all on Tuesday, November 23rd.
